Anglais After The King of Fighters 2001 closed the NESTS saga, this release returns to the 2002 “dream match” idea rather than pushing the canon storyline forward. The point is to throw a huge cast into the same tournament, mix eras freely, and let the rivalry-driven competition take center stage, with Omega Rugal positioned as the ultimate threat.

It's a 2D three-on-three team fighter, and compared to the previous entry it drops the Striker format and goes back to classic 3v3. Compared to the original 2002 release, Unlimited Match expands and rebalances the roster and strengthens the system toolset (notably around MAX Activation) for deeper, more tournament-stable play.
