Espagnol Street Fighter II Remastered es un proyecto en producción desde 2016 como laboratorio para probar diversas soluciones para resolver algunos de los problemas de este juego y otros títulos de esta plataforma. Se ha rediseñado todo el arte y la presentación, y se han utilizado todos los recursos de forma inteligente para extraer el potencial de la consola. Además, no se trata de una adaptación limitada a la obra original; Street Fighter 2 siempre se ha actualizado en arcades y versiones. Por lo tanto, parte del trabajo consistió en revisar el juego con elementos modernos presentes en la propia saga de SF para darle una apariencia actualizada.
