Über Jahre hinweg fanden in einem abgeschiedenen Herrenhaus biogenetische Experimente statt, die von einer angesehenen Organisation durchgeführt wurden. In letzer Zeit jedoch kam es in der Nähe des Herrenhauses immer wieder zu blutigen Vorfällen, die auf den Ausbruch von Tollwut hindeuten. Irgend etwas ist absolut schief gelaufen.

Anglais Special forces S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team's helicopter malfunctioned and crashed during their mission, disappearing into the Arklay Mountains. This and what happens to them is told in the story of Resident Evil Zero. Now, S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team is sent on a mission to investigate a series of murders around Raccoon Forest. Spotting the Bravo team's helicopter, or what's left of it, they land nearby and investigate the surrounding area. Unaware of what they might expect, one member is attacked and devoured by zombified dobermans. The rest of the team, with a little bit of luck, find shelter in a nearby mansion, not knowing it was probably better to stay out.

You play the entire game with one of the two selectable characters, Chris Redfield, or Jill Valentine. The starting point is the lobby of the mansion the three surviving S.T.A.R.S. members just stepped in. After a short while, the team decides to split and search for any possible survivors or anything useful that may help them break out of this dreadful place. To their amazement, they encountered an enemy they never were trained to confront, zombies. There is only one mission to be considered now: survival.

The game is largely a remake of the original Resident Evil for the PlayStation, with some additions. While the floorplan of the returning locations is almost entirely unchanged, several new areas have been added in, extending your stay in the mansion. A new enemy, Lisa, has been added to the game, making your trips outside of the mansion much more dangerous. Finally killing a zombie is now no longer good enough to put them to rest. They must be destroyed totally with fire or else they will rise again; faster, deadlier, and madder than before.
Espagnol Resident Evil es el remake del mismo juego en Playstation, con numerosas mejoras en control, graficos e historia. El equipo de bravo desapareció durante un accidente de helicóptero en las Montañas Arklay, no lejos de la pequeña ciudad de Racoon City. Eres parte del equipo alfa responsable de encontrar supervivientes. Al llegar a la zona del accidente, un grupo de perros rabiosos te obligara a refugiarte en un viejo caseron donde crees que estás a salvo, pero ahí es donde realmente va ha comenzar la pesadilla.

Français Resident Evil est un jeu d'aventure horrifique sur Gamecube. L'équipe bravo a disparu lors d'un crash d'hélicoptère dans les montagnes d'Arklay non loin de la petite ville de Racoon City. Vous faites partie de l'équipe alpha chargée de retrouver des survivants. Arrivé à l'épave une meute de chiens enragés vous oblige à vous retrancher dans un vieux manoir où vous pensez être en sécurité, mais c'est là que le cauchemar va vraiment débuter.
Italien Resident Evil è il remake dello stesso gioco su Playstation, con numerosi miglioramenti nel controllo, nella grafica e nella storia. Il team bravo è scomparso durante un incidente in elicottero nelle montagne Arklay, non lontano dalla cittadina di Raccoon City. Fai parte della squadra alfa responsabile della ricerca dei sopravvissuti. Quando arriverai nell'area dell'incidente, un gruppo di cani rabbiosi ti costringerà a rifugiarti in un vecchio palazzo dove pensi di essere al sicuro, ma è lì che l'incubo inizierà davvero.

A equipe bravo desapareceu durante um acidente de helicóptero nas montanhas Arklay, não muito longe da pequena cidade de Raccoon City. Você faz parte da equipe alfa responsável por encontrar sobreviventes. Ao chegares à zona do acidente, um grupo de cães raivosos obriga-te a refugiar-te numa velha mansão onde pensas estar seguro, mas é aí que o pesadelo vai mesmo começar.
