Anglais Warsong is the only title of a series of famous strategy games, known as Langrisser in Japan, to ever see an official release outside of Japan. It is set in a typical medieval fantasy setting and features traditional turn-based combat. The player controls several generals who can command up to eight different units ranging from ordinary soldiers and archers to more exotic creatures like mermen or lizards.The generals fight alongside their units, however they are much more powerful and are able to use more diverse commands than just moving and attacking, like recovering a small amount of HP or casting spells. Each unit has certain strengths and weaknesses; for example soldiers are good against archers but weak against cavalry etc. Combat is also influenced heavily by terrain types. When two units engage in combat a small animation, similar to those seen in Advance Wars or Fire Emblem, is shown.
Espagnol Warsong es el único título de una serie de famosos juegos de estrategia, conocidos como Langrisser en Japón, que alguna vez vieron un lanzamiento oficial fuera de Japón. Se encuentra en un entorno típico de fantasía medieval y presenta el combate tradicional por turnos. El jugador controla varios generales que pueden controlar hasta ocho unidades diferentes, desde soldados ordinarios y arqueros hasta criaturas más exóticas como tritones o lagartos. Los generales luchan junto a sus unidades, sin embargo son mucho más poderosos y pueden usar comandos más diversos que solo moviéndose y atacando, como recuperar una pequeña cantidad de HP o conjuros de lanzamiento. Cada unidad tiene ciertas fortalezas y debilidades; por ejemplo, los soldados son buenos contra los arqueros pero débiles contra la caballería, etc. El combate también está muy influenciado por los tipos de terreno. Cuando dos unidades participan en combate, se muestra una animación pequeña, similar a las vistas en Advance Wars o Fire Emblem.

Français Warsong (Langrisser en version originale) est un jeu de rôle tactique sur Megadrive se déroulant dans un univers fantastique. Les combats se présentent en tour par tour et le joueur contrôle plusieurs généraux sur le champ de bataille. Chaque général commande une unité de huit types différents (soldats, archers mais aussi hommes-lézards ou encore sirènes) et se bat aux côtés de ses troupes.
Italien L'Impero Dalsis ha invaso il regno di Baltia, costringendo il re Alphador a inviare il suo unico figlio, il principe Garett, in zone remote della campagna. Dopo un po', incarni il principe nella sua sete di vendetta. Il gioco è complesso e prevede la presentazione di personaggi giocabili. Devi reclutare otto soldati per eseguire il tuo comando, equipaggiando oggetti e assegnando posizioni a ciascuno di loro sulla mappa principale. La trama seguirà e dovrai raggiungere determinati obiettivi per far avanzare la storia. Il gioco termina se il protagonista muore in combattimento.

Portugais O Império Dalsis invadiu o reino de Baltia, obrigando o rei Alfador a enviar seu filho único, o príncipe Garett, para áreas remotas do campo. Passado um tempo, você encarna o príncipe em sua sede de vingança. A jogabilidade é complexa e envolve uma apresentação dos personagens jogáveis. Você deve recrutar oito soldados para seguir o seu comando, equipando itens e atribuindo posições para cada um deles no mapa principal. A trama vai seguir e você precisará cumprir objetivos determinados para avançar na história. O jogo termina se o protagonista morrer em combate.
