Allemand Es handelt sich um die Fortsetzung von Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Das Spielkonzept ist immer noch dasselbe, allerdings wurden viele Funktionen von RTK I verbessert, die man als "störend" empfinden könnte (z.B. dass Generäle leicht durch Krankheiten sterben, usw.). Man kann sagen, dass RTK II viel "stabiler" ist, da sich die Spieler nicht mehr so viele Gedanken über die Dauer des Spiels machen müssen. Es besitzt ein langsameres Zeittempo, das es den Spielern ermöglicht, ihre Streitkräfte ohne große Störungen aufzubauen. Das Gameplay und die Benutzeroberfläche von RTK II ähneln stark dem von Nobunaga's Ambition II.

Anglais The sequel to Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The game concept is still the same, though they did improve a lot of features that one may consider 'disturbing' from RTK I (e.g. Generals dying easily due to disease, etc.). RTK can be said to be much more 'stable' where players no longer have to worry that much about time length in the game, as the game take a slower time rate to allow the players to build up their forces without much interference. The RTK II gameplay and interface is closely similar to Nobunaga's Ambition II.

Français Romance of the Three Kingdoms II est la suite sur NES de l'adaptation du roman historique de Luo Guangzhong. Le jeu relate l'histoire chinoise des deuxième et troisième siècles après J.C. Les neuf scénarios vous font incarner le gouverneur de la province que vous sélectionnez. En dirigeant l'un des héros de guerre de chaque période comme Liu Bei, Cao Cao ou Sun Jian, vous devrez user de stratégie pour tenter de régner sur la Chine en créant des alliances ou déclarant la guerre aux ennemis.
