Anglais Kanazawa Shōgi is a digital conversion of the traditional Japanese board game Shogi for one or two players, featuring the endorsement of the Japan Shogi Association (JSA), which has been the main organizing body for professional Shogi in Japan since 1924. It uses a play algorithm originally created by programmer Shinichiro Kanazawa for the Kiwame series, which was the top-ranked computer Shogi program in Japan for three consecutive years. The game offers six selectable skill levels, including a beginner's mode for new players and a so-called "Dragon Climbing" mode which offers the highest possible skill level.

Français Kanazawa Shōgi est un jeu de Shogi (jeu de société japonais traditionnel) pour un ou deux joueurs, bénéficiant du soutien de la Japan Shogi Association (JSA), qui est le principal organisme organisateur du Shogi professionnel au Japon depuis 1924. Il utilise un algorithme créé à l'origine par le programmeur Shinichiro Kanazawa pour la série Kiwame, qui a été le programme informatique Shogi le mieux classé au Japon pendant trois années consécutives.
