Allemand Das neueste Spiel mit dem Namen „Tengai Makyo“ auf PC-Engine entpuppt sich als Kampfspiel. Tengai Makyo Kabuki Itouryodan ist wie ein weiterer Klon von Street Fighter, dem Red Key und mehr. Sie können aus acht Charakteren wählen, die alle aus der Tengai Makyo-Saga (am häufigsten Kabuki Den) stammen: Kabuki Danjuro, Okuni, Push, Zeami, Kikugoro, Manto-X, Mikoshi und Jingoro.
Was die Optionen angeht, könnte es nicht klassischer sein, denn die einzige kleine Originalität (und wieder ...) ist Survival. Im Solomodus endet das Abenteuer mit zwei Bossen, Garp und Anc, von denen nur der erste mit einem Cheat gespielt werden kann (wer ihn verfolgt hat, wird verstanden haben, dass es in jedem und für jeden neun spielbare Kämpfer gibt). Es geht eher um die Erkenntnis, dass Kabuki Itouryodan großartig ist.

Anglais Kabuki Itt?ry?dan is set in the Tengai Maky? universe, and is a spin-off of F?un Kabuki Den. There is no actual story in the game; various characters from F?un Kabuki Den, headed by the charismatic actor/world-savior Kabuki Danjuro himself, fight each other for no apparent reason - even the "scenario mode" allows the player to choose any of the eight available characters, putting him/her against friends and foes alike, one by one.

The characters are a mixture of protagonists, villains, and support characters from F?un Kabuki Den's, including the heroes Kabuki, Okuni, and Zeami, as well as the villains Kikugorou and Garp, and - naturally! - the recurrent stupid ape Mantou.

Beside the scenario mode, there is also a Vs. mode, which is basically a two-player mode, allowing two players to fight against each other as any of the eight characters; and a so-called "Life Attack" mode, which randomly chooses AI-controlled opponents for a player-selected character.

Kabuki Itt?ry?dan plays like a typical fighting game, the two basic moves being a kick and a punch; other moves are unique for each character and involve strong melee moves or magic-like ranged attacks. For example, Kabuki is able to attack with a sword, while Okuni can set her opponents on fire.

En términos de opciones, no puede ser más clásico ya que la única pequeña originalidad (y de nuevo ...) es la Supervivencia. En modo solitario, la aventura termina con dos jefes, Garp y Anc, de los cuales solo el primero se puede jugar con un truco (los que lo hayan seguido habrán entendido que existe, en todos y para todos , nueve luchadores jugables). Es más a nivel de realización que Kabuki Itouryodan es asombroso.

Tengai Makyo Kabuki Itouryodan se présente donc comme un nième clone de Street Fighter, la touche Red en plus. Vous pouvez choisir parmi huit personnages, tous issus de la saga Tengai Makyo (le plus souvent de Kabuki Den) : Kabuki Danjuro, Okuni, Push, Zeami, Kikugoro, Manto-X, Mikoshi et Jingoro.

Sur le plan des options, c'est on ne peut plus classique puisque la seul petite originalité (et encore...) se trouve être le Survival. En mode solo, l'aventure se conclue par deux boss, Garp et Anc, dont seul le premier est jouable à l'aide d'une astuce (ceux qui ont suivis auront donc compris qu'il y a, en tout et pour tout, neuf combattants jouables). C'est davantage au niveau de la réalisation que Kabuki Itouryodan étonne. En effet, c'est vraiment très propre à tous les niveaux : très colorés, les graphismes ne sont peut-être pas un modèle de finesse, mais sont mis en valeur par une animation extrèmement réussie. C'est d'ailleurs principalement sur ce point que la présence de l'Arcade Card se fait sentir. Quant à l'aspect sonore, on n'a pas grand chose non-plus à lui reprocher, chose de plus en plus rare dans un jeu de combat. Enfin, pour ne rien gâcher, la jouabilité est suffisament souple pour permettre quelque facéties pas piquées des hannetons...A noter au passage qu'on revient cinq ans en arrière en ce qui concerne le nombre de coups spéciaux puisqu'on en compte à peu près trois par personnage, plus une "super attaque spéciale".

Si du côté des RPG, la série des Tengai Makyo est intouchable, elle s'en sort également avec les honneurs sur le plan de la baston : Kabuki Itouryodan se place directement dans le peloton de tête des meilleurs jeux de combat sur PC-Engine, aux côtés de Street Fighter II', Flash Hiders et autre Fatal Fury Special.
